The internal body code of the car, 996, ushered in a new wave of water-cooled 911's, leaving behind the air-cooled 993 generation and paving the way for all future generations. This 911 features a 3.4L naturally aspirated flat-six motor (producing 296 hp/ 258 lb-ft) mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

In preparation for sale, this 911 Cab was fully serviced by a highly respected local independent repair shop (Autohaus Social), underwent a professional re-dye of both front seats as well as a full paint correction. As such, the interior shows extremely well for its age with the only minor imperfections being slight cracking/bubbling of the instrument cluster and distortion of the temperature display. Neither of these affect function in any way. The seats show very little wear and all instrumentation functions properly.
