C3 is pleased to offer what can only be described as one of the most beautiful cars ever designed, the 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. With production limited to a mere 500 units worldwide these cars rarely become available and are truly works of automotive art.

Initially debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2003, the 8C Competizione was designed as an homage to the Alfas from the 1950's and 60's. The namesake "Competizione" being adopted from the 1948 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Competizione, which competed in the famous Mille Miglia race more than half a century prior to this car's release.

Sporting a full carbon fiber body mated to a steel chassis, the true beauty of this car is far from skin deep. The powertrain features a Ferrari/Maserati derived 4.7 L V8 engine assembled by Ferrari that produces 444hp and 354 lb⋅ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed transaxle automated gearbox capable of shifting gears in 175 milliseconds. The car also features various driving modes including Automatic-Normal, Automatic-Sport, Manual-Normal, Manual-Sport and Wet.

As configured from the factory this 8C Competizione carried an original window sticker north of $294k in 2008 and featured notable options such as Metallic Paint (Rosso Competizione), Pelle Riore Inrecciata Rives (basket weave seats) and full carbon kit. The matte finish carbon can be found on the entire dash, center console and seat backs among other locations throughout the cabin.

This original owner example was originally purchased from The Collection in Coral Cables and has been part of an extremely tasteful collection ever since. As is to be expected with a car of this caliber, the 8C shows beautifully with interior and exterior in extremely nice condition. A partial from end PPF (paint protection film) package covers the impact zones of the vehicle including the front bumper, fenders and portion of the hood. Having been maintained with an open checkbook approach since new, this 8C is truly a gem with absolutely no known paintwork. Accompanying the car in its sale will be a binder of service history since new, original window sticker, vehicle literature, navigation CD, tool kit, car cover and both keys.​
